CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTMENTS _ The adjustment made by the chiropractor consists of a gentle and specific force applied to a vertebra. Depending on the type of adjustment given an audible release of gas (joint cavitation) may be heard. The audible sound is caused by the release of oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide, which releases joint pressure (cavitation). There are many types of adjustments. Drs. Brandon and Chantelle Crouch utilize several different types of techniques to provide a tailored chiropractic program to the individual. Drs. Crouch most commonly perform Full Spine Diversified Adjusting, Activator / Instrument Adjusting, Toggle / Upper Cervical Specific, Thompson Drop, and SOT.
